Google Chrome™ Compatibility
Google released Chrome™ version 46 on October 16th, which removed a specific popup function in Chrome™ that is unfortunately used in over 200 areas within Act!. This has caused disruption to Act! Premium customers using the web interface in the Chrome™ browser.
This update was anticipated and we are aggressively working on a comprehensive update for all our Act! Premium v17 customers. In the meantime, we recommend using the Internet Explorer® browser for immediate access for Act! Premium for web and Act! Premium Cloud.
We understand the importance of browser choice and are committed to resolving this issue for all specific versions of Act! v17. All issues are currently being tested and will be included in Act! v18, which has an anticipated release date in mid-December.
Windows® 10 Compatibility
Microsoft announced the release of Windows® 10 on July 29, 2015. Upgrading to Windows® 10 introduces many new features, some of which may affect Act!. We highly recommend performing a complete backup of your Act! database prior to upgrading to Windows®, though the current version of Act! (v17) is fully supported. We have additional recommendations to make your transition as smooth as possible - please visit the following Knowledgebase article to review our best practice guide: KB#38171.

Note: Previous versions of Act! may have issues that cannot be resolved; review the KB above for details. Future releases of Act! will be fully tested and supported on Windows® 10.

Swiftpage Completes Acquisition of Sage ACT! and Sage Saleslogix Businesses
Swiftpage announced today it has finalized its acquisition of the Act! and Saleslogix customer relationship management (CRM) businesses from The Sage Group plc. The new combined company, which now provides integrated marketing and CRM solutions to more than 1,000 resellers and millions of end users worldwide, is headquartered in Colorado and has 300 employees in offices in the United States and the United Kingdom.
