What's New in Act!

The latest Act! Mobile update introduces new ways to navigate, customise, and interact with your data—making the app more intuitive and accessible than ever. From personalised shortcuts to faster calendar navigation, these enhancements are designed to help you move through your day with fewer taps and more control.

Zoom gestures are now supported throughout the app, allowing you to easily enlarge screens and read smaller text on the go. You can also prioritise what matters most with the new Activity Priority field, and quickly jump to any date using an improved calendar date picker. Plus, new customisation options let you tailor the main navigation bar to fit your workflow—keeping your most-used pages just a tap away.

The latest Act! Cloud update brings a cleaner, more consistent list view experience to Contacts, Opportunities, and the Task List, making it easier to review, sort, and interact with your data. Originally introduced in the History list, this enhanced layout now extends across more areas of Act!, providing a unified way to work with information at a glance. 

Selecting multiple records is now simpler, too. Intuitive checkboxes replace Tag Mode and related options, allowing you to quickly choose records and perform bulk actions directly from the Contact Actions menu. You can also launch meetings, calls, and histories for selected contacts in just one click. 

Finally, new pagination controls let you decide how much data to view at once—display 25, 50, or 100 records per page for faster navigation through larger lists.

The latest Act! Cloud update brings greater flexibility and control to Project Management in Act! Advantage, making it easier to collaborate with contacts while protecting sensitive details. Share real-time project updates securely through contact links, with new options to control access to goals, obstacles, attachments, and comments—including the ability to hide comments altogether. Projects also now support multiple currencies, helping teams work seamlessly across regions.

Plus, everyday usability just got better. You can now type custom values directly into the History Duration field for more accurate tracking. Navigation has also been streamlined: Interactive Quotes are accessible from the Opportunities view, Online Appointment Scheduling is integrated into the Calendar, and the History List has been refreshed with small but meaningful updates, including the option to manually pull the latest data.

Updates to Subject Line Picklist Manager make it easier to keep your activity titles organised and relevant. You’ll now have the flexibility to add, remove, and manage subject line options for meeting titles—helping reduce clutter and streamline scheduling.

The latest Act! Mobile update introduces two powerful enhancements designed to help you capture contacts faster and personalize your schedule. With the new QR Code Scanner, you can quickly scan business cards, map the details to contact fields, and save new contacts in seconds—no manual entry needed. We've also added a Custom Calendar Start Day setting, giving you the flexibility to choose which day your week begins so you can align your calendar with your personal workflow. These updates make it even easier to stay organized and productive on the go.

The latest Act! update delivers an improved History List View with enhanced performance and a modern, intuitive design to support a smoother workflow. Built on new front-end technology, the updated History List and History Tabs offer a streamlined interface that makes it easier to navigate, filter, and review your history records. All existing functionality remains, now within a refined user experience that also lays the groundwork for future usability enhancements.

The latest Act! Cloud update delivers more control, visibility, and speed across your day-to-day workflows. Now, you can easily import Companies in bulk using a simple CSV file—perfect for managing large datasets without manual entry. The Calendar has been refreshed with a cleaner, more readable layout, making it easier to view and manage your schedule at a glance. Adding products to Opportunities is now quicker than ever, thanks to a larger dropdown and new type-ahead search to help you find items faster. Lookup enhancements: your recent selections are remembered, Quick Lookup is now accessible from the left navigation, and current search filters are always visible in list views. You can also clear or switch lookups without leaving the page—giving you a faster, more seamless search experience across Contacts, Companies, Groups, and Opportunities.

The latest Act! Mobile update introduces new features and enhancements to help you work more efficiently on the go. Quickly create new contacts with the built-in business card scanner, and schedule activities faster by tapping directly into available calendar slots. You can now view and interact with other users’ calendars to better coordinate schedules. We’ve also refined the Contact and Company layout editor for a cleaner experience, and added type-ahead search to ID/Status fields, making it easier to find what you need, fast. And subtle UI updates throughout the app bring a more modern, intuitive feel.

The latest update to Act! Cloud introduces a redesigned Lookup experience, making it easier to manage searches without changing how Lookups work. The new Lookup drawer lets you create queries using dropdown options, view and modify active lookups, re-run your five most recent lookups, access saved queries, and open advanced query options—all in one place. The “My Record” option is now located under your profile icon and takes you directly to your contact record—making navigation faster and more intuitive. We've also improved the Actions menu for Contacts and Opportunities by adding sort functionality, allowing for quicker access to key actions based on your preferred order.

We’ve recently made updates to improve Act! Cloud navigation and usability:

• New Actions Menu: You’ll now see an Actions menu in the top-right corner of Contacts, Companies, Groups, Opportunities, and Calendar pages. It gives you quick access to options like print and export—just like the top navigation bar.
• Tools Menu Moved: The Tools menu now lives in its own spot in the left navigation, so it’s easier to find.
• Group Visibility in Activity & History: You can now view both Sub-Groups and Parent-Groups when selecting Groups during Activity and History logging, making it easier to stay organised.
• Other Improvements: We’ve also made small upgrades to the navigation menus and how Activities and Histories are logged to help you work more efficiently.

The new workflow simplifies batch uploads, ensuring accurate data mapping while reducing manual effort. Users can now easily organise contacts into groups during the import process, improving segmentation and accessibility.

If you've happened to set an alarm for an Activity, you can now use the alarm pop-up window to clear the activity. When an alarm pop-up is presented, you can select "Clear Activity", which allows you to "Save and Follow Up", which works in the same way as if you had cleared the Activity from the Calendar or Task List
