In the final installment of our “7 Apps to Connect to Act! using Zapier” series, we explain how connecting Act! and Google Contacts helps you manage your contacts by keeping them up to date and organized – allowing you to never miss an opportunity to make a connection or complete a sale.
If you’re just starting out as a small business owner, or if using contact management software is new to you – chances are you have prospect and customer information stored in a multitude of places (i.e. on sticky notes, various email accounts – personal or professional, your cell phone, etc.) and it can be quite the task to keep it all straight. If you’re a Gmail user, Zapier allows you to connect Google Contacts and Act! – every time a new contact is created in Google Contacts, one is automatically created in Act!. Zapier syncs your new Google Contacts as soon as they are added – so you never have to worry about transferring information between the applications again, which will free up more time to focus on growing your business.
Tip: This Zapier integration only applies to new Google Contacts after you've set it up.
