Bob Ogdon, Founder & Chairman

Bob Ogdon is an executive technology and business professional with over 35 years of experience in the multimedia market. Bob founded Swiftpage in August of 2001 where he acted as Chief Executive Officer until hiring H. John Oechsle in July of 2012. Bob is the Chairman of the Board.

Bob's background includes expertise in multimedia, telecommunications and computer-based high technology companies. Bob has founded and served as CEO of four companies. Prior to Swiftpage, Bob founded, a leading web interactive broadcasting company he later sold to Intercall Conferencing. Prior to, Bob founded Mammoth Micro Productions, a pioneer in CD-ROM multimedia tools, technology and publishing that he sold to the Washington Post Company in 1995. Before that Bob founded Action Graphics, a game design and software development company. Bob has a bachelor of science degree in psychology with minors in math and computer science from the University of Puget Sound.

Bob is an advocate for technology education and entrepreneurs in Colorado. Bob supports Kidstek, an organization dedicated to making technology accessible to youth, acts as a regular volunteer speaker at the University of Denver on digital marketing topics, and mentors for the Colorado Founders Institute. Bob is a longtime advisor to the board of the Colorado Technology Association (CTA) and acted as the 2008 Board Chair. He was awarded the Bob Newman Lifetime Achievement Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Community in 2005, as well as the Technology Entrepreneur of the Year in 2011 by the CTA.

When he is not at the office, Bob enjoys rebuilding muscle cars, skiing, fishing, hiking and hanging out with his family.

H. John Oechsle, Chief Executive Officer

H. John Oechsle joined Swiftpage in July 2012 and currently serves as President and Chief Executive Officer. John came to Swiftpage with a 30 year track record of building highly profitable and sustainable revenue growth for emerging companies and established global leaders.

Prior to joining Swiftpage, John served as the Executive Vice President of Strategy and Product for DigitalGlobe. During his tenure, he was instrumental in shaping the future of the company and driving revenue growth through the launch of a number of very successful product lines. Prior to DigitalGlobe, John was the Senior Vice President of Technology and Content as well as Chief Information Officer for IHS Inc. Before that he was the Chief Information Officer and Vice President of Information Management Worldwide for Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics, a Johnson & Johnson company, where he was responsible for all technology and e-business. Earlier in his career, John served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for Land America Financial Group, Inc., and Director of Global Information Management for Kellogg Company. John holds a bachelor of arts degree in computer science from Rutgers University and is a graduate of the Tuck Executive Program at the Amos Tuck School of Business, Dartmouth College.

John is an advocate for technology and education in Colorado and has been an active contributor and served as 2007 Chairman of the Colorado Technology Association(CTA). John supports OpenWorld Learning, an organization which uses the power of technology and peer teaching to develop leadership and ignite a love of learning among children. John also supports Kidstek, an organization dedicated to making technology accessible to youth. John has been recognized several times for his involvement in the industry. In 2006 and in 2009, John was awarded the Technology Executive of the Year, and the Titan of Technology awards by the CTA. John was also awarded the Bob Newman Lifetime Achievement Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Community by the CTA in 2011.

While not at Swiftpage, John juggles his time being a husband, father and grandfather, and spends the time he has left playing golf, skiing and boating.

Frank Johnson, Founder

Frank Johnson co-founded Swiftpage in August of 2001 and has more than 40 years of experience in designing software.

Most recently, Frank architected the software platform for, a leading web-conferencing company he co-founded with Bob. The two also co-founded Mammoth Micro Productions, a CD-ROM multimedia corporation, with Frank leading software design. Prior to that, Frank held senior software development positions at: Field Enterprises, developing direct mail solicitation and response systems; at CNA Insurance, working on real-time claim and premium processing systems; and at J-SOFT LTD, developing video games. Frank has also served in the U.S. Air Force where he was assigned to develop various military software applications. Frank graduated with a bachelor of science degree in math and physics from the University of Wisconsin- La Crosse.

When not working for Swiftpage, Frank has taken on home renovations.

Matt Showalter, Founder

Matt Showalter co-founded Swiftpage in August 2001. He is responsible for strategic alliances and integrations. Formerly, Matt was the CIO at Swiftpage.

Matt Showalter has 20 years of experience in technology and engineering. Prior to Swiftpage, Matt worked as the corporate sales engineer at a leading web interactive broadcasting company, where he played a fundamental role in the research and development of the MSHOW web conferencing product. Before MSHOW, Showalter was a reservoir engineer for Vertex Petroleum Systems and had responsibilities in sales and product development. Previous experience also includes working with Mammoth Micro Productions in Software QA to provide a variety of interactive business products for Fortune 500 companies as well as children's CD-ROM games to the general public. Matt graduated with a bachelor of science degree in petroleum engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and is a Board Member on the Colorado School of Mines Alumni Association.

While not at Swiftpage, Matt enjoys hanging out with his family, camping, hunting and skiing.

Sach Chitnis, Managing Partner, Jump Capital

Sach Chitnis is a board observer and is currently Managing Partner of Jump Capital. Jump is a Chicago-based venture firm that invests in early and expansion stage technology companies within the healthcare, marketing, enterprise software, and financial sectors.

Sach brings to Swiftpage a perspective as both a successful executive & investor with experience in diverse industry verticals within wide-ranging functional and general management roles. Prior to founding Jump, Sach spent six years as an Operating Partner for Tarsus, a growth capital and middle-market private equity firm. His operating roles spanned companies within the logistics, marketing and pharmaceutical research industries. Preceding Tarsus, Sach led the $670mm consumer businesses for SIRVA, a Chicago-based Clayton, Dubilier & Rice portfolio company. His role included leadership of the Allied and northAmerican consumer moving brands for US & Canada. His prior leadership roles at SIRVA ranged from marketing to M&A, and included developing corporate strategy and incubating new strategic ventures.

Sach began his career with GE in global roles within their premier management programs, including the Corporate Audit Staff.

He graduated with a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Rochester and a MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

When he’s not working with the Swiftpage team or his other technology investments, Sach dedicates much of his free time to his wife and 2 kids while squeezing in time to play sports, drink good wine and cooking meals with friends.

David Clayton, Independent Investor

David is a British national with over 35 years experience in the technology industry. In addition to his role at Swiftpage, he is also Chairman of SDL plc, a UK based global provider of Customer Experience Management Solutions and Language translation services. Until July 2012, David was a main Board Executive Director for the Sage Group plc, the world’s largest provider of business solutions for SME’s, with responsibility for Strategy and Corporate Development. Prior to joining Sage, David was a Managing Director at Credit Suisse and head of the number 1 ranked European Technology Equity research team. After graduating from The University of Sheffield, he began his business career as a programmer at HSBC in 1978.

Tom Lopez, Independent Investor

Tom Lopez is a serial entrepreneur, having started, successfully commercialized and sold three companies in the computer software sector. With a background in advertising from J. Walter Thompson Company, he led product development for Activison, Inc., was CEO of Cytation, Inc., a leading CD-ROM company, Vice President of Microsoft Corporation, and co-founder of Mammoth Micro Productions and MSHOW.COM. In recent years, he has served as strategic advisor to a number of high-technology startups and serves on several boards of directors.
