Installation and Configuration
Order of Installation for ACT! for Palm OS
- Install Palm Desktop software
- Install ACT! 6 or ACT! Express
- Close ACT!, Palm Desktop, and all other programs
- Install ACT! for Palm OS
Configuring ACT! for Palm OS
- From the Start menu, select Programs, then ACT! for Palm OS, then choose ACT!
for Palm OS Settings
- Choose your Database
- Enter in your Username and Password when Prompted
- If you have more than 1,000 contacts select the appropriate groups
- Map any custom fields you may be using
- Select how many notes and histories you would like to HotSync to your Palm
- On your initial HotSync you must select Desktop Overwrites Handheld
- Press OK to continue
- Perform your HotSync

access this guide, from the Windows Start menu, choose Programs, then ACT! for Palm OS

To display Help Topics, click the Help button within the ACT! for Palm OS
Settings screen
To display specific Help Topics for the active window (when available), press F1
