ACT! for Palm OS® 3.0

ACT! for Palm OS 3.0 is an add-on product that provides mobile access for ACT! by Sage 2008 (10.0) and ACT! by Sage Premium 2008 (10.0). Now you can bring the power and convenience of ACT! to your handheld device.

ACT! for Palm OS 3.0 enables you to access critical ACT! information from a Palm OS handheld device so you can stay productive, whether you’re in the office or on-the-go. Palm OS Device Minimum Device Requirements:

- Palm OS 3.5-5.4
- Minimum 33 MHz or higher processor
- Minimum 8 MB or higher memory
- Minimum 500K free memory plus 1K for each contact
- HotSync® Manager 3.5 through 6.0.1
- Palm Desktop 4.1 through 4.1.4E

Important Note for ACT! for Palm OS® customers:
ACT! for Palm OS 2.0 is compatible with ACT! 8.0 and 9.0, ACT! Premium for Workgroups 8.0 and 9.0, ACT! Premium for Real Estate 2006, ACT! for Financial Professionals 2007, and ACT! Premium for Financial Professionals 2007. ACT! for Palm OS 3.0 is compatible with ACT! 2008, ACT! Premium 2008, ACT! for Real Estate 2008, and ACT! Premium for Real Estate 2008. ACT! 2008 and ACT! Premium 2008 users must be on version 10.01 to be compatible with ACT! for Palm OS 3.0. Please refer to the Installation Guide for details.

1Companies and Groups may not be added, updated, or deleted on the device. Group or Company membership may be updated on the device. A Group or Company membership will not display if one or more of the fields used in the Group or Company dynamic membership rules is not included in the user’s sync set.

Experience True Contact Management from your Handheld

Because ACT! for Palm OS is a robust ACT! application native to the handheld device, it delivers many of the benefits of contact and customer management such as a linked calendar and task list, the ability to go directly to a contact record from a scheduled appointment, and the ability to view interactions with a contact or a customer from the contact record. In contrast, ACT! Link for Palm OS1 and third-party synchronization solutions must use the Date Book and Address Book that come with Palm OS devices and do not provide the seamless experience of ACT! for Palm OS.

2 Companies and Groups may not be added, updated, or deleted on the device. Group or Company membership may be updated on the device. A Group or Company membership will not display if one or more of the fields used in the Group or Company dynamic membership rules is not included in the user’s sync set.

3 ACT! for Palm OS users may not add, update, or delete Custom Activity Types from the device. Custom Activity Types must be added in the Windows product.

4 ACT! for Palm OS users do not have the option to limit an update to a single contact. Any change to shared notes or history that is made on the device goes to all shared contacts.
