  1. What is a Passport membership?
    Passport is the new gateway to the Sage SBD Knowledge Center, online chat, products and services, implemented to insure a convenient online experience for you, our customer.

    Passport membership is free to all our customers.

    Passport can make your online experience easier and faster by remembering your login information. To remember your information, simply make sure the "Remember Me on Future Visits" box is checked when you log-in.

  2. Why does Passport require a valid e-mail address?
    With a valid e-mail address you are able to create a Passport membership. Before using your new Passport account you will be e-mailed a confirmation. A valid e-mail address is required to receive this confirmation and then "turn on" or activate your membership. Your e-mail address is not used for marketing nor sold to third parties.

  3. I just signed up as a new member and Passport won't let me log in. Why?
    You need to "turn on" or activate your Passport account before you can log in for the first time. You can activate your account by opening the activation e-mail titled "Welcome to Passport" sent by SagePassportHelp.sbd@sage.com when your account was created. Simply open the e-mail and click on the activation link provided in the e-mail. (Some users, including AOL members will need to copy and paste or type this activation link into their browser.) You will be asked to confirm your password and then your membership account will be activated.

  4. I have created a new Passport and activated it, but I am still having trouble logging on. Why?
    1. Close down all Microsoft Internet Explorer Windows
    2. Open up Internet Explorer, from the “Tools” menu, choose “Internet Options”
    3. Click on the “Delete Cookies” button, click "OK"
    4. Click on the “Delete Files” button, check the box for offline files, click "OK"
    5. Click on the “Privacy Tab” , ensure that the setting is set to Medium
    6. Click on the “Content Tab” , choose the “AutoComplete Settings” button
    7. Click on the Clear Forms and Clear Password buttons
    8. Close the dialog box
    9. Log on

  5. I don't remember my password, what should I do?
    For questions about your password, or to change or reset your password, click here. Be aware that the "Remember Me on Future Visits" functionality will not work if you changed or reset your password. You will need to log in with your new password and check the box "Remember Me on Future Visits" to remember your new password.


  6. I checked "Remember Me on Future Visits" but I am still prompted to re-enter my e-mail address and password
  7. The "Remember Me on Future Visits" functionality relies on cookies to remember your member information. If you have deleted your cookies your "Remember Me on Future Visits" information will have to be reset the next time you log in. To do this, make sure that you re-check the box "Remember Me on Future Visits" the next time you log in. Also, please note that the "Remember Me on Future Visits" functionality will not work if you changed or reset your password. You will need to log in with your new password and check the box "Remember Me on Future Visits" to remember your new password.

  8. When I log into Passport, the e-mail and password fields are filled in for me. Other people in the office use my computer, and I don't want them to use my login information. What should I do?
    If you do not want us to remember you on future visits, deselect the "Remember Me on Future Visits" checkbox on the Log in page the next time you log in. Subsequent times you log in, the e-mail address and password fields will be blank. The log out link can be found on the blue navigation bar on the left side of this page.


  9. How do I change my e-mail address in Passport?
    To change your e-mail address choose "Edit My Profile" from the navigation bar on the left side of the site. Log in, if prompted. When you get to the profile page, change your e-mail address, and click the Continue button at the bottom of the page.


  10. What is the difference between Company Name and Business Name in Passport?
    A Company’s Name is the umbrella name for that company. A Business Name is the name the “umbrella” company names any sub-companies. For example: "Torino's Pizza Inc." is the company name. "Torino's Pizza #143" is the Business Name. This is the name attached to any service the customer orders for this business.

    The Company Name is listed in the Customer Profile Page.


  11. How do I change my Company Name?
    To change your Company Name, you simply edit the name on the "Edit My Profile" page and save. You can reach this page from the "Edit My Profile" from the navigation bar on the left side of the site


  12. I created a Passport account in error and now I can't create a new one.
    Your previously-created Passport account is still being recognized. Close all your browsers and delete your cookies. After this, you will be able to create a new account.


  13. When I try to log in I am somehow stuck in a loop. I have verified that my e-mail address and password are correct. Why do I keep getting prompted to log in again?
    Your account ID or e-mail address may be corrupt in your Passport account. Please click here to contact Passport Member Services.
