Anytime Learning: ACT! 2009 Email Integration
E-mail communication is central to most personal and business interactions, but as an ACT! user, are you exploiting ACT! e-mail integration to its fullest? Did you know that ACT! integrates with several popular e-mail programs to enable you to be more productive and efficient? Integrating your favorite e-mail application is simple and powerful. Once you have configured e-mail in ACT!, you will be able to:
- Create contacts from e-mail messages saving you time and minimizing data entry.
- Record history when an e-mail is sent to track date, subject, and/or messages sent to your contacts.
- Use the new Quick Attach feature to quickly attach messages to one or more contacts with a single click of a toolbar button.
- Create activities from messages in your Inbox, minimizing the time you spend switching between applications.
- Send professional communications, marketing campaigns and more to your contact list using mail merge functionality.
In this series of lessons, you will learn how to:
- Configure ACT! e-mail
- Configure Outlook as your preferred e-mail program
- Use e-mail integration features such as:
- Creating contacts from messages
- Creating activities from messages
- Recording history
- Using Quick Attach
- Perform a mail-merge to quickly generate e-mail campaigns
