ACT! Premium for Web 2010 Service Advisory – March 4, 2010

Currently, ACT! Premium for Web 2010 is compatible with Internet Explorer 6-8 on Windows® PC and Safari 3.0 on Apple® Mac®. If you would like to use Safari 4.0 with ACT! Premium for Web 2010, we have released a Knowledgebase (KB) article that details how to run ACT! Premium for Web 2010 on emulation software.

Please be advised that Safari 4.0 is now the default browser for new Mac machines running Mac OS® X Snow Leopard® (10.6). Therefore, if you upgrade to Snow Leopard, you will need to take the steps outlined in the KB article to remain compatible with ACT! Premium for Web 2010.
Moving forward, our Web browser support will be Firefox and Internet Explorer. We anticipate delivering a Firefox compatible version in the fall of 2010.

ACT! Link for use with QuickBooks 4.x Service Advisory – March 4, 2010
If you are using ACT! Link for use with QuickBooks 4.x with ACT! 2010, please continue reading. If you are not, please disregard this message.
Installing ACT! 2010 SP1 (12.1) with ACT! Link for use with QuickBooks 4.x will cause you to experience the following:
- You will not have the ability to view the "Last Update Summary"
- Your will not have the ability to import accounting records
A hotfix is being developed to address these issues and its availability will be communicated to you once completed. You will be able to install ACT! 2010 SP1 (12.1) without the issues outlined above, once the hotfix is available.
